C⁴, the console cowfolk computer club, is a Toronto-based assemblage of tinkerers and technology enthusiasts. We are interested in questions regarding privacy, anonymity, surveillance, information, and power in cyberspace. In other words, we are a group of internetizens who are nervously trying to understand what computational technology can do.

We are looking to work with and share knowledge and practices with social movements, community organizations, activists, techies, academics, and journalists to better understand and re-reappropriate communications technologies on behalf of social justice and basic civil rights to speech, expression, assembly, and protest. More esoterically, we are also interested in psycho-orienteering, anti-pioneering, mapping informational flows across networks and collaborating with like-minded concerned digizens.
